The Florida Department of Environmental Protection(DEP) will be participating by speaker phone from a conference room in Tallahassee. FDEP has confirmed attendance pending any emergency reassignment as a result of the oil spill issues.

Additionally, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), St. Augustine Port, Waterway, and Beach District, and the Army Corps of Engineers will be in attendance.

We need to look at how to modify the plan to allow the sand from the dredging of the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) by Porpoise Point that is planned for the fall of 2010 to go north of the inlet in the designated critically eroded area (as designated by the FDEP) that keeps washing out.

St. Augustine Beach is already scheduled for beach renourishment and this is not part of the discussion.
