The United States Army Materiel Command Band will be performing the "Soundtrack of Soldiers" in the Vilano Beach Town Center on Monday, March 15, 2010.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the performance starts at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free, but to get a reserved seat you need to go to http://www.armyband.us.
The Vilano Beach Main Street organization under the North Shores Improvement Association is sponsoring this event and is providing 800 chairs. This event is expecting 800 to 1000 people. Please come early and enjoy the Vilano Beach Town Center and the Vilano Beach Pier.
The concert will take place at the pier pavilion on Vilano Road.
Directions: From Saint Augustine, cross the Vilano Bridge and take a right at the stop sign onto Coastal Highway. Take a right at the next stop sign onto Vilano Road. Go all the way to the Intracoastal.
Barbara Jenness takes joy in assisting people in buying or selling their home or land in northeast Florida (St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, and Jacksonville). She is a community activist and leader serving as President of Friends of A1A 2008-2010, Past President of Scenic & Historic A1A in St. Johns County for over 10 years, and past vice-president of Vilano Beach Main Street (North Shores Improvement Association). She is a past president for WCR in St. Augustine and a member of South Ponte Vedra Civic Association, Porpoise Point, Serenata Beach Club, and Palencia. She founded and is a Past President of the St. Augustine Regional Council (StAR Council) to promote the St. Augustine area to individuals outside the region.
